- Approximately $291 million per year.
- Where will the money be spent?
- 33 percent will go to an outdoor heritage fund to restore, protect, and enhance wetlands, prairies, forests, and habitat for fish, game and wildlife.
- 33 percent will go to a clean water fund to protect, enhance, and restore water quality in lakes, rivers, and streams and to protect groundwater.
- 19.75 percent for arts, arts education, arts access and to preserve Minnesota’s history and cultural heritage.
- 14.25 percent to support parks and trails of regional or statewide significance.
- What will it cost Joe and Jane Minnesota?
- 3/8 of 1% increase in sales tax. Example: A $30 purchase would increase to approximately $30.11.
- What will Joe and Jane Minnesota get?
- More land, water and habitat for hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, boating, swimming, biking, snowmobiling, bird watching, and countless other forms of outdoor recreation.
- A healthier, cleaner Minnesota statewide.

- Cleaner waters.
- More land and water for habitat.
- Preserved and managed forest, prairie and wetland habitat.
- A stabilized and preserved environment to live, feed and reproduce.

- Vote for it. On the November 4th presidential and state election you will see a box to check for the amendment. NOT CHECKING THE BOX COUNTS AS A VOTE AGAINST THE AMENDMENT
